Meet Dr. Sarah Wong

Plastic surgeon

Dr. Sarah Wong is a board-certified plastic surgeon with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and body contouring. She strives to bring a comprehensive, personalized, and fulfilling experience for each patient as they embark upon their plastic surgery journey and discover a complete version of themselves.

As one of the few female plastic surgeons in Toronto, Dr. Wong brings her extensive experience and training to the community. She has a unique understanding of the female body including post-maternity and post-bariatric remodeling surgery. Her research has been published in Canadian and International peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals and she is board eligible in plastic surgery in the United States

Upon completing an accelerated undergraduate and medical degree program at the University of Calgary, Dr. Wong entered a highly competitive integrated plastic surgery program at McMaster University. With a keen interest in helping woman restore their appearance and confidence after breast cancer, Dr. Wong completed a prestigious fellowship at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Texas. She focused on further subspecialty training in advanced breast reconstruction techniques. Upon her return, she joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at Scarborough General Hospital to spearhead the reconstruction program.

Dr. Wong is an active member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
